	I still haven&#8217;t seen AVATAR, but I had the idea for this strip when I heard the &#8220;MacGuffin&#8221; the humans were after in the movie.  Admittedly, not the greatest joke I&#8217;ve ever written but I had the urge to make Mick and Ari into Na&#8217;vi. 	<p>I still haven&#8217;t seen AVATAR, but I had the idea for this strip when I heard the &#8220;<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacGuffin" target="_blank">MacGuffin</a>&#8221; the humans were after in the movie.  Admittedly, not the greatest joke I&#8217;ve ever written but I had the urge to make Mick and Ari into <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Na%27vi#Na.27vi" target="_blank">Na&#8217;vi</a>.</p>
<p>The thing that struck me most about this strip is how much, apparently, my drawing style was influenced by the Smurfs!  Unsettling, really.</p>
